ISSA Certification: There are two types of self-study certificate programs: 6 months and 12 months. 6-month programs are allowed up to 6 months from the date of registration to complete your program. If you do not meet the program requirements within 6 months, you can request a free 2-month extension. If you do not meet the requirements during your first renewal period, you can apply for a final 2-month renewal for a non-refundable fee of $99. 12-month programs are allowed up to 12 months from the date of registration to complete your program. If you do not meet the program requirements within 12 months, you can request a free 1-month renewal. Completion of the program beyond the last renewal period requires re-enrollment. Students must submit all course quizzes, achieve 75% or better in all sections of a seminar, home study, or online exam, and submit a copy of an adult CPR/DEA certification within the defined enrollment period. Before the institution can accept an online student`s enrollment in a program or course, the college must comply with the distance learning regulations of the state where the student resides.
